The Schoeps Parabol-Set, CCM 2 is a complete parabolic microphone set combining a parabolic reflector with the omnidirectional Schoeps CCM 2. The microphone and reflector form a matched system providing high directivity at medium and high frequencies.

The CCM 2 is the conventional microphone choice for use with a parabolic reflector. Its omnidirectional pattern is less susceptible to wind and handling noise than the cardioid version. Very low frequencies can also be captured, although the parabolic reflector provides no directivity at these frequencies. The free Schoeps ParabolEQ plug-in can be used for further correction of the frequency response.
