The Schoeps Parabol-Set, CCM 21 is a complete parabolic microphone set for applications requiring high directivity at medium and high frequencies. The set combines a parabolic reflector with a Schoeps CCM 21 wide cardioid microphone. The microphone and reflector form a matched system designed for a smooth frequency response.

Within the parabolic system, the CCM 21 provides a compromise between the omni and cardioid versions. Directivity is higher than with the omni version, while wind and handling noise are less pronounced than with the cardioid version. The set is designed for applications including nature recording, sports broadcasting and sound design. The free Schoeps ParabolEQ plug-in can be used for further equalization of the system.
