AudioRoot eSMART BG-DU-REG

The AudioRoot eSMART BG-DU-REG combines eight Hirose-compatible power outputs with a universal battery fuel gauge and regulated output channels. Three locking switches control the output groups. It provides power distribution for a sound bag or compact location sound cart.

Two separate 12V channels each supply up to 12 W and are fully isolated. This isolation can help reduce ground-loop problems between connected devices. A regulated 9V channel supplies up to 18 W through two Hirose outputs sharing that channel's capacity.

Compatibility and Connection Cables

Supports eSMART lithium-ion batteries such as the Li-48neo, Li-49Wh, Li-96neo and Li-98Wh. Smart battery information requires a four-conductor input cable, such as the eHRS4-OUT-4W. A standard two-conductor cable does not transmit this information.

With conventional SLA, NiMH and lithium-ion batteries, the fuel gauge uses learned battery capacity and measured current consumption to calculate remaining capacity and runtime.

Comparison with BG-DU

The eSMART DUO provides two smart power inputs with hot swapping. The eSMART K-ART offers expanded distribution for a sound cart.
