The Sonosax SX-AD8+ is an eight-channel microphone and line preamplifier with A/D conversion and digital AES3 outputs. It operates independently or expands the Sonosax SX-R4+.

Compatibility and Connection

SX-R4+ connection requires an MDR26 interconnection cable and a separate power connection. In this setup, settings are accessible through the recorder display and the rotary controls can operate as gain controls or faders.

Network Options

A Dante option card or AVB option card adds a network output. SX-Controller requires the Dante option and firmware 1.8 or later and supports up to ten units on the same Dante network.
