Sonosax SX-R4+

The Sonosax SX-R4+ is a portable 16-track audio recorder with four built-in microphone preamps and analogue and digital connections. Two SD card slots support simultaneous recording to create recordings on both cards. Expansion modules add microphone inputs, external faders or integration with wireless receivers.

• Analogue inputs with 48 V phantom power, low-cut filtering and polarity reversal; digital XLR inputs with sample rate conversion.
• Uncompressed BWF recording with iXML metadata for project, scene and take information.
• 2.4-inch colour touchscreen and control through a Wi-Fi web interface.

Compatibility and Expansions

• SX-AD8+: eight additional microphone preamps, providing up to twelve microphone inputs.
• SX-RC8+: eight rotary faders, AES connections and power distribution.
• SX-LC8+: control using eight linear faders.
• SX-RX8+: eight-channel expansion for wireless receivers.

Optional recorder configurations include a four-channel output module, Dante or a 12-pin connection for the Sennheiser AMBEO VR Mic. These options are separate configurations.
