Use a suitable AES42 input or an AES3 input with an appropriate AES42 power supply. An analogue microphone input with P48 does not power the CMD 42 correctly. In Mode 1, the receiving device must apply sample rate conversion or follow the microphone's clock; in Mode 2, the receiving device can synchronize the microphone.
