Sonosax SX-RC8+

The Sonosax SX-RC8+ is a control extension for the Sonosax SX-R4+. Eight rotary controls with push-button functions adjust AES input gain or operate as rotary mix faders. The module also provides connections for digital audio sources, power distribution and communication.

Controls and Connections

In gain mode, the controls operate AES inputs 1–8. Fader mode offers curves from -60 to +12 dB or -60 to +24 dB, with mute at the closed position. The fourth TA3M connection for AES channels 7–8 is shared with the slate and communication microphone.

Compatibility

The SX-RC8+ is designed for the SX-R4+. The MDR26 interconnection cable is ordered separately. Hirose power distribution is electrically independent of the controller power supplied by the recorder.

The SX-LC8+ provides eight linear faders instead of rotary faders.
