The Schoeps MK 2H is a small diaphragm condenser microphone capsule with a true pressure-sensitive (omnidirectional) polar pattern. The MK 2H capsule offers a mild high-frequency response elevation at 0°, which compensates for high-frequency losses caused by a slightly increased diffuse field amount at medium recording distance. This results in a very natural sound when recording close to the sound source.
