The Schoeps MK 2H [131009] is an omnidirectional condenser microphone capsule from the Colette series with a slight, purely acoustic high-frequency elevation. This compensates high-frequency loss in diffuse sound at medium recording distances, resulting in a balanced and natural overall response. The MK 2H is widely used for A/B stereo and Decca Tree setups; together with the KA 40 sphere accessory it forms a classic Decca Tree capsule.
