The Schoeps KMIT is a shotgun capsule with an interference tube for the modular Colette system. A separate Colette microphone amplifier is required for operation. The capsule combines strong directionality with low coloration of sound arriving from the sides.

Connection and Compatibility

The KMIT is compatible with all Schoeps Colette amplifiers. With an analog amplifier, the connection and power requirements are determined by that amplifier. The digital CMD 42 requires suitable AES42 equipment. A microphone amplifier is not included.
