The Schoeps Desert Island Set MK 2H combines two MK 2H omnidirectional capsules with two compact CMC 1 U microphone amplifiers. The capsules are matched and supplied with a matching certificate. The set is stored in a Peli Case 1010 with a fitted insert.

The MK 2H has a gentle acoustic high-frequency boost above 6 kHz. This compensates for high-frequency losses caused by reflected sound at medium recording distances. The set is suitable for A/B stereo recording of instruments, ensembles and orchestras, capturing both the sound source and the room acoustics.
